I can't leave out information for pets, especially since we have a dog, a cat, three rats, two axolotls and three hens.
Our dog and cat are fed a homemade diet that excludes wheat and grains. We feed them cheese occasionally as a treat.
I found a wonderful website, Dog Treat Kitchen, that has recipes for dogs with allergies. The recipes seem fairly easy so I'm going to play around with making up my own substituting regular flour with a gluten-free all-purpose flour.
Cat treats are a bit trickier it seems aside from the fact that cats have a different diet requirement than dogs (more protein), they are well, finicky. Many of the websites ask that the recipes are purchased or that you subscribe. I'll have to do more research.
